Australia Power Cords
The AS/NZS 4417 is the standard plug for Australia, and is distinguished by the SA marking. Though similar in appearance to the GB 15934-2008 and IRAM standards, the AS/NZS 4417 differs in that it uses a plastic sheath to insulate the base of the live and neutral blades. SAA underwrites approvals for all Australia Power Cords.
Quail’s International Power Cord Molds are tooled using state-of-the-art equipment and high quality thermoplastic resins. All of our Australia power cords feature solid stainless steel blades and boast the SA approval required for circulation within Australia and any countries that require the SA marking on their power cords. To figure out which is the standard plug of any country, visit our International Cord Locator and select the country you want.
Our Australian Power Cords are divided into two types. Cords with One End feature exposed wire on the opposite end making them ideal for hard-wiring into appliances. Cords with Two Ends are used when the application you are powering has a built-in inlet for the connection.
The flagship of Australia Power Cords is the 8530 Series.
