| The "Y" and "W" Cords |
Multi-leg cords: the answer to power sharing !
Quail Electronics, Inc. is releasing a new power cord designed to power 2 or 3 different units while only drawing power from one outlet. This new cord comes in many different configurations and lengths to handle different voltages and amperages.
The Y and W cords are another example of customer driven solutions to power cable management. Its not unusual for designers to wrestle with the challenge of providing adequate power cabling without creating a surplus of cables that can become easily tangled as well as requiring additional AC outlets. |

| Piggyback Cord |
Maximize your Space ! It's that Simple !
There's just never enough space on the power outlets are there? Quail's power strips, and multi leg power cords like our "Y" and "W" cords are a great solution, but the "piggyback" cord is yet another valuable alternative. It's quick, easy, and space efficient.
The piggyback cord will allow you to tap into the AC power outlet and power a piece of equipment while maintaining a usable AC power outlet.
Our 2700 and 2710 series come with a standard IEC-320-C13 connector but we don't stop there. We have others configurations available. We can also do custom wiring of the piggyback plug. Please feel free to ask our sales department.

Quail Electronics is proud to introduce the Clear Plug International Power Cords for every region of the world so that the Medical and Dental OEM can offer consistency within their product line regarding the power cord.
In Europe, there are 5 areas with their own style of plug and approvals standards. Denmark, Italy, Continental Europe (such as France, Germany, Spain), United Kingdom (UK) and Switzerland are the different configurations you can find there.

| Hospital Grade Power Strips: 4 and 6 outlets |
Our power strips have been designed and tested for grounding reliability, assembly integrity, strength, and durability. They are approved by UL and C-UL. Specifically, UL 60601-1 require that "patient care equipment" must use hospital-grade attachment plugs and have a current leakage of less than 0.5mA. The type of equipment is defined in UL 2601-1.

| Rotating Power Strip |
There always seems to be so many bulky transformers but so little space between outlets. We end up with wasted space, and possibly the need of more power strips or "power strip saver" jumper cords. The Rotating Power Strip takes care of this problem. Simply rotate the outlets in opposite directions and utilize all of the power outlets.

| Brazilian Power Cords |
"Often times in the power cord world one country will use an existing plug configuration and safety agency approval from another country or region. At some point, however, they may decide to develop their own safety agency and standards. This is the case for the Brazilian power cord that we are introducing. The cord itself is still the standard USA NEMA 5-15P style plug as it always has been, but now fully approved and marked with the Brazilian INMETRO approval as apposed to the UL, CSA approval which
was recognized in Brazil in the past. You can see the unique INMETRO marking on both ends of our power cord. | Cable Retaining Clamps |
Quail Electronics offers a few solutions to the problem of power cords being accidentally disconnected from the equipment. Especially in medical, military and
equipment critical applications, the chance that a power cord is either mistakenly or accidentally pulled out of the equipment could be catastrophic. Our new line of
cable retaining clamps is the most permanent solution. Our clamps have been tooled to fit perfectly onto the molded IEC60320 end of our cords and bolt
snugly into the IEC60320 receptacle in the equipment. This proves to be a very cost effective solution to a common problem. |
